Hello, I am back up here on Deviant Art and I must say September so far is really exciting for me right now, I have started my senior year at High School, and I believe this is the year where I can finally be able to get the job I want so I can actually save up to get a lot better crud. But for now I will share some brief news for you and a quick review of the new Thomas and Friends Movie, Hero of the Rails.

The Start of School:

Alright so my first day of school was on September 9th, and I must admit it felt good seeing old friends that I have not gotten to have physical contact with, so that I must say is a huge plus. So I soon got my classes for this semester and I am very pleased with what I have, Economics first period, Spanish, Math Analysis, and AP Environmental, something to have for college registration. So I am pretty goal oriented in the education aspect and I am so determined of getting an A or B in Math Analy, and AP Environmental i just know that if I study hard and smart then I will accomplish my goal.

8th Anniversary of the September 11th Attacks:

Alright so as you know today (I guess you can say that yesterday) marked the 8th anniversary of the attacks that took place in New York, Virginia and Pennsylvania. I remember when I first heard about it happening, I was 9 years old and i remembered going into the living room in my house and just watching the World Trade Center on fire thinking that this was a huge Hollywood movie production until seeing United flight 175 slamming into the South Tower. I did not realize that this was a huge situation that would soon affect many Americans along with other people around the world who were either victims or were relatives of the victims that died that day and was not mature enough to know why this happened, but as I got older I started to get more research done on it and believe it or not I had no idea about what happened in Shanksville, Pa, the site where United Airlines Flight 93 crashed after the efforts of the passengers and crew who overwhelmed the Hijackers intent on using their aircraft as a missile for the Capital Building, I can truly say that their story is 100 times better than any old John Wayne film, and I start to live by Todd Beamer's last known words, Lets Roll. I now know to take a stand to either an injustice and not to give in to fear, I learned that is it the best to do something that you believe in and not lets others knock you down, to close this subject I think that we should all pray for those who lost a loved one that fateful day and remember 9/11 to ensure a better tomorrow.

Hero of the Rails- A Brief but Detailed Review.

Alright, so I have been psyched about this for the last few months before the film came out but I am very pleased for pre-ordering the first glimpse of the CGI Thomas and Friends. Hero of the Rails was an absolute masterpiece, the intro of the film was very Pixar which hints me if the director Greg Tiernan had work experience with them, but aside from that the film had a lot of positive views from me. First off lets talk about the CGI'ed characters, Thomas looked amazing, the designers definitely took their time and modeled him according to his actual model and his voice Actor Martin Sherman is a grade A choice in casting, he give Thomas the determination and confidence the blue tank engine holds. James was well done, his voice actor who I believe was William Hope did a marvelous job in capturing his vain and conceited ways. I will have to be a bit skeptical about Edward, one thing that I noticed was he was designed to sit a lot lower than James, which is not accurate in the live action series in which James and Edward are the same size, and I have to be honest about how William Hope portrayed him, I think Edward is an old fashion steam locomotive but I do not believe that he is an actual old man, but as the film progressed he started doing a better job in acting as the voice of Edward, but I would still prefer an older Jason Marsden voiced Edward myself. Gordon, Henry, and Percy were perfect, Percy was so cute, he sounded like the younger brother to Thomas and you can see how well he was voiced. Henry sounded like a New Yorker to me, all whiny and stuff but I grew to like his voice however, it gives him more of the cartoony feel, I especially liked it when he says "Bust my Boiler!". Gordon your typical express engine, as the senior member of the crew he sounded just as he should experienced and a little pompous, and it was great seeing him actually racing with his rival Spencer, that is something the season 8-11 would not do, but that is okay because it is happening now. Spencer was the ultimate villain who turned bad but in the end became good, his voice is accurate to how his personality is, proud and stuck up. Emily was the best of all to me, I loved how Jules De Jongh gave her the confident and friendly tone that adjust well to Emily. Hiro, Victor and Kevin were great additions to the film, I favored Hiro the most because of seeing his back story and how he was once a true legend and how he was restored to his former glory, you should see the scene where he pulls Spencer out of the mud, his whistle is amazing, true to a Japanese D51. Victor and Kevin were great for the comic relieve, seeing Kevin dropping and falling over objects were hilarious to see which I thank HIT for, is giving a more of a mature feel to it bringing out the old school Thomas fan I still am today. I should stop writing for now, go out and purchase the movie or go to your nearest theater and watch it on the big screen you will be won over.

That concludes this journal for tonight, I will be back soon and post more updates from me, peace out.
